And I'll leave you with this: I don't have a problem with free speech. I believe in it too. But Fightbeat isn't a free state. We have rules for our speech, because here, it's all there is.

I'm in agreement with this, in fact those that defend OC are the ones who keep fueling him to go in the way he does. He likes the attention he gets and being known as the guy who lives by no rules. I've seen guys like this come and go and they always go because they get banned. They always get trapped being the tough guy who can't tone himself down because everyone expects him to act out. Like Tam says, the guy should have been banned long ago.

The rule doesn't state "don't use racism unless you don't really mean it or you are too ignorant to know better." The rule states "don't use racism." OC was warned several times for his behavior.

I started out really liking him as he was witty and funny, but lately I've personally disliked his constant racial references to the point where I wouldn't even respond to him. It's a shame too because he had so much potential to be one the more popular posters until he fell into the toughguy trap that eventually led to his vacation. There's no way he won't get himself permanetely removed and when he does, I won't miss him.

MTF, I was just thinking what a great contribution you yourself make to this board and I hope your sticking up for OC will be the only slight I'll see of you in my eyes in the future.

I ain't part of no fucking clique, but just because YOU like someone doesn't mean YOU should be sticking up for them when they're wrong. Man I swear some of you guys will stick up for people when they break any rule, Gee Money comes to mind.

Well the post you wrote after the post I wrote sounded like it was directed against what I just wrote. After rereading it, I don't really see how it could unless you were being sarcastic which isn't always easy to figure when you're reading it.

Anyway TD you know you and me are cool so it's nothing.

By the way though, there was a thread made a while back where a couple people were saying to bring him back and they missed him. I think I have it saved somewhere as I've started saving my own threads since this site dumps them every 6 months.

I accept that I am more lenient and tolerant than most. As I said somewhere else in this thread, I may not agree with what is being said, but I will always defend a person's right to say it.

But I take your point, just as I do Tam's and everyone else's. Rules ARE rules, sure. I didn't say that OC shouldn't have been banned (it was coming as soon as he started his posts), I just think the length of it was harsh.

Here's my last post regarding this bullshit. I actually think I've given the dude way too much of my time as it is. But yes I'm glad he got banned. And I don't think that 3 months was long enough. Hell I don't even give my 6,5, and year old as many chances as he got. Also it ain't like his racist shit just started yesterday on fightbeat. He was even a racist on secondsout and was banned from there for his racist talk and that was atleast 5-6 years ago. So the dude has an obvious problem that only he can fix. Fightbeat is prolly one of the best boxing websites out there and we don't need his kind. I'm gone from this thread. I'll Holla 5000
