    That's wrong. If licensing the fight would mean anything more than the usual amount of caution and concern for the fighters, they never should've let it go in the first place.

    haha..i consider Arturo Gatti to be modern boxing.

    Some of the Klitschko decision/late stoppage wins indicate that great come from behind wins are still possible. Shannon Briggs, for example.

    Margarito/Pacq also comes to mind

    Either way, it's an idiotic blanket statement to make

    I would think a guy who trained Tommy Hearns would remember the game-as-all-hell and rather underrated scotsman contender Murray Sutherland who hustled the whole night in a losing cause against Tommy

    I think he said something along the lines of "there not used to being in these types of fights" and implied there would be a quit job.

    I don't care about stereotyping, but at least get it right. If anything limited Brit fighters like that have only their toughess and will to go on.

    I actually think Kellerman got it right. Lamps or Merchant said something along the lines of Murray fighting Rios' fight and Max said it's actually Murray's fight too. Problem for Murray was he was against somebody better. Rios didn't force the pace, Murray was obliging.
