Douglas got off first. Getting off first is one of the most underrated aspects of boxing. Even counter punchers find their spots on when to get off first.

Douglas went from one extreme to another without "Posing" and admiring his work. Douglas seamlessly went from one combination to another regardless of how basic the combination was: Jab, Jab, right; Jab, Jab, Jab, Right, dip, slide away to the left or right; Jab, Jab, half step back, big right hand... Just beautiful boxing.

when the douglas fight came... that to me was where it just got to be too much for him and he believed he could do whatever he wanted and didn't have to train etc..

before he fought spinks, Mike was not with whores and drunk all the time..

Look at the Savarese fight. Tyson skims the guy's head with barely a punch and the guy falls down like he's f*cking dead!

Hell, in retrospect, the Holmes victory looks good. Tyson was the only fighter to knock HOLMES OUT EVER. And years after that, Holmes humilated Ray Mercer, a guy who arguably beat Lennox Lewis in his prime. That even older, shoter version of Holmes beat Ray like a bitch and was talking to the announcers while beating his ass. Tyson didn't beat any great fighters while they were great, but he made serviceable fighters his bitches and stopped most of them with ease. Comparing a real fighter like Tyson to a bitch like Maweather is disgusting.

The problem with Tyson was how many of his fights seemed shady. Look at the Tyson/Stewart fight. Watch Stewart fall down from a missed right hand and watch the commentators not even say anything for a good 3 seconds because they're wondering "What the f*ck did he fall down from?":scratcher:

Watch Tyson vs Seldon and see Tyson's right hand sail several inches over Seldon's head and Seldon falling down like a sh*tty actor.

Watch Tyson vs Etienne and see Etienne pulling his gumshield from his mouth slowly while taking his 10 count and then a minute later, high-fiving and laughing with his corner after scoring a $2 million payday.

Watch Tyson/Savarese and notice Savarese fall down from a punch which skimmed his f*cking head! Nobody says sh*t but it's pretty obvious! A lot of shady sh*t went on in these fights.

Also take notice of Don King fixing the WBA rankings in 1995 and getting McNeely ranked right before Tyson's big comeback. People sweep sh*t under the rug and just walk the other way.

It's obvious many many boxers came to quit against Tyson, many gave a half assed effort and pretended that they were trying or were scared outright. What's funny is that far superior boxers to the likes of Buster Douglas and Razor Ruddock fell down to Tyson quickly whereas these 2 guys didn't fall down for him. Even a f*cking blown up cruiser in Holyfield took umpteen flush punches to the jaw from Tyson's fists and didn't budge.
All the while, a guy like Seldon falls from a punch which doesn't even make contact. And the Savarese fight was a joke in itself.
