As for the fight, Wilder will likely ice Helenius inside of 5. If he loses, it'd be hilarious.

I am actually little bit of a fan of Wilder. His fights are colorful and he gives his all. Also the older I get, the less I care about how a fighter behaves. They are not role models anyway.

Helenius was able to turn his career around after several injuries. Now he is coming off of two good victories and he seems confident, but he has gained seven pounds since his last fight. I suspect he is mainly there there for the payday.

Furthermore, all the good results in his career have been against slow, plodding aggressors. If he were facing Andy Ruiz, I'd give him a shot, but Wilders seems all wrong for him.

Helenius' defense is porous and he has always been vulnerable against quick attacks. While Wilder is no speed demon, he is quick enough to catch Helenius. I assume it will be over in three rounds

With single shots, I agree. Also his movement looked sharp in his public workout

Wilder isn't losing to this guy.

And 214-215 is his optimal weight. It's 238 that he has no business at.

Wilder doesn't have a huge frame like a Lewis or Bowe.

Is Wilder still with the same trainer from the 3rd Fury fight?? Or was he also replace because he conspired to have Wilder lose the fight.

Wilder needs to add leg days to his training regime, 3-4 days of leg work. Front & back barbell squats, split squats, hack squats, machine curls, lunges, etc…

Agreed, I don't like Wilder and think he's highly overrated but we have to respect his heart and fighting spirit. Combine with his 1 punch power, he definitely makes for must see tv. Helenius is a gatekeeper and he's tailor made for him.

I'm curious what percentage of the members here are watching this card vs the Devin Haney vs Bumbozo fight.

I'm looking forward to the undercard Plant vs Dirrell. There is a genuine dislike from Dirrell for Plant. During the weigh in face-off Dirrell and Plant exchanged words. Dirrell told Plant he got hurt by a 160 pounder(reference to Canelo koing Plant) See I got respect for most of the members here but have zero respect for the idiots who Claim Canelo is a natural 168 or 175 pound fighter as a way to push a false narrative. Real fighters like Dirrell understand Canelo is a little guy. A blown up mw really.

Surely he can't be the most overhyped/overrated heavyweight of all time if you're picking him to destroy someone else?

Please. While Wilder isn't remotely great, he is far too dynamic for a big, stiff guy with poor defense
