We got to say though that's it's not only PBC and Haymon who are conning out gullible fools in the boxing world. It was basically the same situation with DAZN, IIRC, where the one issuing those huge nonsensical contract using someone else money (like the 100M for Golovkin) was in a potential conflict of interest and probably making a cut out of it. Seems the sport really lives up to his reputation as an hive for scumbags and hustlers out to get an easy buck at someone else expense. No surprise, DAZN has also turned out to be shit (at least on the boxing side) after a strong start and is hemorrhaging money.

 

The only silver lining for boxing imo is that with the coming economic recession and the end of ''easy money'', it's going to be harder and harder to find a sucker willing to pay a fortune for some meaningless fights that don't draw shit. Hopefully, this will mean more competitive fights. The sport has simply been awful in the last couple of years
