His record? Ortiz and Fury aside, his record is comprised of cab drivers and no-hopers.

This isn't a man who amassed some stellar resume.

But making this distinction is silly, and useless.

Any attribute that brings you success in fighting is good, and if you have enough of it so that you achieve success in fighting, you are good in fighting

REED Knows That, YOU Know That, Fightbeat KNOWS That...

But for Teddy to Simply Say "He Can't Fight", ON ESPN No Less, is Irresponsible...He's There to EDUCATE the Ignorant, Mainstream Masses About the Sport WE Love...Had He Clarified WHAT He Meant By That, Cool, but Teddy Didn't...

An Hour Later, Stephen A. Smith Said "Teddy Atlas Said Wilder Can't Fight"...MILLIONS of Boxing Dumbfucks Heard That and Spoke it Like GOSPEL Ever Since, All Because Teddy was Tooooooooooooo LAZY to Elaborate...

I haven't seen the clip and have no desire to but it's pretty hilarious as it sounds like it's one of the few times he didn't but should have. Usually he elaborates on points that don't require it.

Shiiidddd, I hope fans do speak it like the gospel.

Maybe Wilder will overhear the criticism and actually work on his craft... wishful thinking, I know...

BTW - casuals aren't AS retarded about boxing as they used to be. Why? Because now a lot of them follow MMA, so they've come to realize what "fighting skill" means - of course the skill sets in both sports are different, but at least now many understand that a fighter requires skill to be successful.

I'm sure there's a percentage that will misinterpret what Teddy meant, but I think most sports fans understand the difference between an athlete having skill and no skill.

Just Rubbed REED the Wrong Way...

You'll NEVER Hear an ESPN MMA Consultant Flippantly Say "He Can't Fight"; Instead, He'll Intelligently Elaborate on That Fighter's FLAWS…

Granted, Teddy DIDN'T Mean it as an Indictment on Boxing; Teddy Looooooooooooves Boxing, Obviously...REED's Just Bothered By the PERCEPTION Of Teddy's Wording to Those That DON'T Know Any Better...

SAS has always been paid for hyperbole but he exposed himself badly with his McGregor take with Rogan and further digs himself into the hole talking about Wilder.

    Just stick to bball.

it would be bad for boxing if a skill-less palooka like wilder was the undisputed heavyweight champ/face of the sport

Neil crossed SAS out soon as Smith referred to 3 Time Champ Bailey as a nobody.

Wilder is going to get seriously damaged in III.

He lost every minute of every round last Saturday.

Fury wasn't even sitting down on his punches and he was jolting Wilder and snapping that stupid big black head back with jabs.

Victory isn't impossible for Wilder in III.

All it takes is ONE mental lapse from Fury and it could be over.

But regardless, I expect if Fury starts beating Wilder up again that Beyonce will look for a way out.

Wilder's resume of KO's is equivalent to George Foreman KO2 José Roman in 1973.

I don't even think Wilder can KO Fury at all.
