The weights are fine for both men. They have BOFE made adjustments as they see fit. Fury's weight and body comp was all over the spectrum, an unfortunate aspect of the issues he had been having.

Was Roy healthier the night he fought Tarver or the night he fought Ruiz?

Was Bowe healthier in the first Golota fight or the second one?

Weight means something but there's a fair bit of detail to look at too.

Rocky hit harder than an armour piercing round. Wilder punches faster than Iron Mike. Willie Pep won a round without throwing a shot. Tyson Fury sued Lazarus for trademark infringement. Boxing was dead prior to Fury vs Wilder 2. What's your favourite bit of Boxing BS?

REED is Constantly Amused by Joe Louis' "Everybody Has a Plan Until they Get Hit" Quote Being Attributed to Mike Tyson and Re-Phrased "Everybody Has a Plan Until They Get Punched in the Mouf' "

Knowing Mike's GRASP of Boxing History, he's Probably Embarrassed By it Being Packaged as HIS Quote...

It's Fair to @ Least QUESTION How Fury's Mobility Will Be Impacted by the Weight...This Will Be What, the 3rd-4th Time he's Come In @ 270 or Heavier???...

It's Also Fair to Question How Coming In Heavier Impacts Fury AND Wilder's Stamina...

Cracked streams. However the last couple times I used it for UFC it stopped working. Maybe too many people know about it... I'll try it still

Wont be the end of the world for me if it doesnt work.

None ot these bum ass heavyweights compel me enough that I can't miss their fights.

I mean, if the stream works - I'll watch. If not- oh fuckin well.

It is intriguing or interesting, in both cases.

Haye raised the issue as to where Wilder put the weight on, in his arse and legs is best, he opined.

Fury's weight is simply a question of him having stepped on the scales at a time when he has hit the higher end of his "In-shape" weight rather than the lower end {the Otto Wallin fight} of his "In Shape" weight.

If Fury loses, it won't be for the sake of 18lbs extra weight.

    If Wilder loses, ditto.

Interesting, but the odds in the bookmakers never shifted a jot once the weights came in.

I bought it. Felt it was good value over here for the ULK equivalent of under $40 and it's not a Neddy Hearn production.

Wilder looks great. Tyson at 271 at weigh ins. He might be 290 at fight. OR. He could have been putting on fake weight. Had something in his packets to appear heavier. His arms looked good

Could be. He looked very slim just a while ago, it would take some effort to gain that much weight. Also, Fury is effective with his mind games

I didn't know that. I always thought Mike said that, simply because I had always seen Mike being quoted as having said that.

Exactly. He wore his shirt and it wasn't a tight lycra thing either. His arms were good. His skin was clear. He's codding people. He's in shape. There will be no excuses from any camp about weight. Fury always carrys a bit around the waist.

    It's $80 in the US.

I'm not paying that for a heavyweight fight with a putrid undercard.

With a stacked undercard I would have bought it.

The reason I bought is that I am just tired waking up and trying to get to a phone or laptop and watching the fight without knowing the result.

My laptop always overheats and the streams are shit.

It's at 4AM here so I will just get up early rather than stay up.

As an IT professional here are some cooling options you can try.

LOL I had thought about fans and ice.

The Toshiba I have is apparently reknowned for being able to suck dust into the heatsink around the CPU.

    Stupid design.

I still hope Fury wins. But if his movement and stamina are compromised tonight, I can’t see him doing it.

I agree, if he can't get out of the way, he's in trouble.

The thing is, Wilders got to keep throwing with extra weight too.

It's one fight I simply cannot call.

Everytime my head tells me Wilder has the edge, my heart tells me Fury's the only guy he's never beaten.

Yeah with desktops cooling issues are much easier to sort out. Some laptops are just poorly designed from the start and there's not a lot you can do.

    Yep, Joe Louis...

Word for Word it's "Everybody Got a Plan 'til They Get Hit", if REED's Not Mistaken...Response to a Question Asked During the Louis-Billy Conn Build-Up...Thinking it was the RE w/Conn, Not Entirely Sure, and NOT Looking it Up to Verify Either:Jest:...

REED HAZILY Recalls Tyson Saying "Like Joe Louis Said, 'Everybody's Got a Plan 'til They Get Hit' ", @ SOME Point...Mike MAY Have Even Added "Hit in the Mouf' ", Not Sure...

    But Yeah, Joe Louis...

Probably why if Fury doesnt go for and get the KO (mid-rounds Im guessing) Wilder will get the nod on a (questionable) split-decision.

Yeah, it was Louis who said that. He also said Conn “can run but he can’t hide” which I’ve heard many times, the first time being when I first saw The Last Dragon.
