Gatti was shot. He was so shot, that he looked physically drained and near dead in a pre-fight interview with weeks left before the fight.:eeeek:  Dude's eyes looked like a zombie.

Diego had no gameplan other than to follow Floyd around. Plus he had a glass chin.

Floyd has stopped 24 of 38 opponents. That's pretty decent.

Of course he didn't stop either Judah or Baldomir when he should have done, but I honestly believe that Zab's low blow and the following mini-riot saved his ass...and Floyd wanting to protect his hands after the first 6 rounds, saved Baldomir.

Floyd has stopped fairly solid guys before...Burton, Corrales, Gatti, Ndou, Mitchell etc.

Don't underrate his power and finishing ability, you may be surprised.

I picked Floyd to beat the shit out of Gatti, Gatti sucks. Hatton would have destroyed Gatti too.

Floyd is too far past his best weight to KO any decent fighters. Floyd hasn't stopped anyone good for a while now.

True...but since then he's only had three fights:

    Judah
    Baldomir
    De La Hoya

It took a KILLER like Cotto 11 rounds to stop Zab and even then Zab wasn't knocked clean out.

Vernon Forest who almost stopped Shane, couldn't stop Baldomir...and Judah who stop Cory Spinks who Jermaine Taylor couldn't stop...couldn't stop Baldomir.

De La Hoya...well unless you'r name is Bernard Hopkins, you're not stopping him.

So no shame in any of that....

True...but Zab just got caught early and stubbled when he tried to get back on his feet prompting Nady to stop it. It wasn't as though Kostya gave him a sustained one sided beating.

Lennox was Koed with one punch by Rahman.

Is an in shape Rahman some type of heavyweight dominator?

True to a degree but Kostya was finding his range on Zab with his money shot, that cannot be denied. Agreed with the rest of your post.

People dog Floyds comp but who exactly did Zoo beat.

Zoo is very overated and Fatton fought him when he was old and injury prone and still needed to foul all night to win.

Great post. Floyd fought the rematch and dominated, Hatton just ran away with his tail in between his legs.

When you need a gift over Colloazo it doesn't look good for Vicky against a real fighter like Mayweather.
