Aye, here's to hoping that we will soon get to see the end of the detestable 4's careers as well, that would be even sweeter. And by those 4, I'm talking about Stevenson, Haney, Tank and Garcia.

 

Shakur and Tank aren't likable, but they do have world class talent and skill.

Ryan will be a one performance wonder, and Haney will never be the same again.

 

I agree, but they all look the same to me in the sense that I want them all to get laughed out of the sport. Haney is a mental midget, Garcia is a literal POS (the shit he said about Kambosos' wife was inexcusable), and both Tank and Shakur are keyboard warriors that talk and act like prepubescents.

Taylor's not a fraud. He was a good fighter in his prime. But definitely overhyped.

He bascially said that he fucked Kambosos's wife right after Kambosos lost to Loma. Some other twitter users even called him out on how that's going too far etc. Garcia was just like ''the truth is the truth, I slept with her, no cap''. He then went on to say how he hopes that Kambo's wife stays with him forever so he could raise Kamboso's kids, how he would beat George up and that there's nothing he can do about. Garcia is just a completely classless scumbag.

 

Ryan will be humbled (again) the moment he fights a top fighter w/power. He's too shitty not to get wrecked.

I rate Wilder higher than Ryan. Both fragile guys with little going outside of power and handspeed, but at least Wilder had heart. That puts him ahead of Ryan.

 

Garcia took an IQ test. He failed it.

 

Wilder is indeed done. Gun-shy, killer instinct gone, heart gone. The list goes on.

Good win for Dubois but boy, he loves to eat right hands and that could spell disaster against Joshua. Showed a good chin, heart and determination to win but does have his faults as a fighter. I still like him, to be honest. He comes to fight. Starting already to sound punch drunk at his young age, though.

 

All this "biggest puncher in heavyweight history" bullshit is over forever.

I said years ago not to compare this bum with Tyson, Foreman, and Lewis as punchers. Reason being: Tyson, Foreman, and Lewis wrecked guys known for their durability.

Wilder made a string of defenses against glass jawed no hopers.

Never compare Wilder's power w/those guys again.

 

Truly incredible how some men just soak up punishment and retire and live happy lives. Scrubs , journeymen etc. Then you've got these guys who take a few shots and show it immediately.

Another thing....it used to be a guy would get the British title and make routine defences and become known at that level. Never make mad money and never get badly hurt. Go on a run.

Today they're all trying to be Big time and they land in an inbetween world where they're not the man but they're getting all the punishment.

That's where Wilder has been since Fury II. That's where DuBois is now.

 

That's assuming he actually ends up fighting one. He could call it quits for all we know, or pull a Keith Thurman and fight once every Olympics. The guy is more unstable and harder to predict than a 2 year old toddler. He is literally a giant fucking baby.

 

There have always been hypemen but I think people needed it to be true. They need to believe they're witnessing magic or theit own existence is diminished..

I never give Wilder much credit for anything, his power was always legit IMO. You're right, he's done absolutely nothing with it, but I mean, it's clear from just watching how guys fall that he is a massive, massive puncher. I mean, he had literally nothing else going for him.

Not to mention, he's an awful finisher, so the fact he's got so many KOs is a testimony to both his power, and his opponents' incompetence.

I think the way Dubois has bounced back from the Joyce loss has been pretty impressive. A lot of guys would have lost heart after a defeat like that and gone downhill in their careers. Now he's got the hard rounds in against the likes of Miller and especially the experience of having faced Usyk. You could argue that he's going from strength to strength. You have to admire his desire and belief in himself. But the concerns are around how he loves eating shots for breakfast.
