theres a difference between a tune up and a joke.

Whats the point of this fight?

    Conning the fans again.

I wonder if the IBO 147 title is on the line? Dreadful rubbish.

    Makes me sick

So basically Hatton is fighting the kind of guy Witter has made a career out of fighting?

are you saying Hatton's opponents are better? The dude was pulling guy out of their graves for fights. His best wins are humping Tsyzu for the title. Damn, that's about it. I can't believe anybody gave Hatton a chance to beat Mayweather. He's complete rubbish.

    Of course they are...

Witter has fought one half decent fighter in his entire career and he ran for his life against the most mentally fragile fighter of recent years.

Their respective resumes are worlds apart :dunno:

Who did Hatton beat in their prime that was respectable?

It's called a tune-up. Last time out, he lost his unbeaten record by being spectacularly KO'd. You thought he was going to go straight back to title fights? Like Witter did when he lost to Zab and got straight back into the saddle with a bout against...Steve Conway

Who did Witter beat that was respectable? Period.

Arguably Kotenik is his best win (he might have lost) and he KO'd a shot Vivian Harris. And that's it

Even if Tszyu was shot (Which is arguable. He was inactive and probably past his prime, but no reason to presume he was 'shot'):

Shot Tszyu > Shot Harris & Kotelnik

Hell, you could argue that any of Maussa/Urango/Collazo/Castillo(shot) are better than anything Witter has fought, never mind Tszyu.

Hlatschwayo ISN'T a "Bad" Fighter by Any Stretch...He's Not a Complete BUM or Anything:nono: ...

REED's Seen him a Couple Times on FNF...He Can't Punch but he's an Adequate All Around Fighter...

Obviously, Hatton WILL B Tooooooo STRONG for him, but it's a Decent Choice of Opponent Coming Off of the 1st Loss of his Career...By KO No Less...

    Hatton-Witter is INEVITABLE...Just B Patient, ATTRACTION...

First of all Hatton should have been disqualifed in that Tszyu fight, it was a complete disgrace to boxing.

Collazo beat the crap out of him and almost knocked him out. Anybody who thinks he won is a joke.

I though his best win was over Maussa, and that's about it. How do you know Harris was shot? Hell, Leija was giving Tszyu hell and I thought he was winning. Hatton is a joke

So, the answer to my question of 'who Witter has beaten who was reasonable' was... :dunno:

    Exactly

Witter has two 'good' wins- Kotelnik (he arguably lost) and Harris (who if he isn't shot is WELL past his best). Which of these is better than those I listed for Hatton?

Exactly. A half decent opponent; a perfect opportunity to rebuild some confidence and re-condition/tune-up for the ONLY fight that matters now at 140.

Bottom line is that if Hatton fights ANYONE other than Witter, Attraction will say he is a bum.

he's fighting Hlatschwayo. That's a good fight. Not a bad opponent for a comeback.

Isaac is a better fighter than Demetrius Hopkins, so I find it funny to see the reaction on this thread. ...particularly from one undercard attraction.

It's not a bad come back fight.....Hlatswayo has a couple of decent scalps albeit at lightweight....an impressive performance in front of his home fans and then a big fight in the summer, hopefully against Witter

Hlatschwayo would beat at least 3 of the last 4 guys Witter fought. Regardless, Hatton's resume blows Witters away. hatton already said he's not giving Witter the payday, he needs to look elsewhere.

I understand what Hatton is attempting to do. But just think about it. Mosely didn't take a tune-up after the Forest fight and Wright fight. Taylor ain't taking a tune-up fight. I mean if you are who you are then get your ass back in the ring and get you some pay back against big time fighter. Hell his whole career has basically been a damn tune-up. I'll Holla 5000

Those two fights were rematches. If Mayweather came calling, I'd suspect Hatton would take the paycheque too.

His whole career has been a tune-up? Jesus. More of the same.

I understand that those were rematches but damn don't take 3 steps backwards to move 1 step forward. Throw your hate back into mix. That's all I'm saying. Shit he can fight and beat Zab Judah. That would be a good name to add to his resume. By the way you have to admit for the amount of fights that he's had there's not alot of high caliber fighters on the list. You have to admit that right? I'll Holla 5000

Zab Judah isn't a good name anymore though. Thats part of the problem. Why is it you guys even mention him anymore? He's nothing.

He's had a lot of fights. Sure. But since he stepped onto the world stage, he's really had very few "gimmies". He just took a long time to get onto that stage.

Are you fuking kidding me. Zab right now with the loses that he has would clearly be the 3 best fighter on Hattons resume today. Oh yeah that shit you just typed is are nothing but sorry ass excuses. Nothing more nothing less. I'll Holla 5000
