Reminds REED of how Viv Kinda "Flipped Out" & Focused More on FLOYD than Maussa,Back in '05...Did Viv Say Maussa's Name 1nce @ that Final Press Conf???

Witter Appears to B Making that SAME Mistake if he's Riding Hatton's NUTS w/the Biggest Fight of HIS OWN Career Coming Up in 2 Days...w/Out REEDing Tooooooooo Much Into that,it's Still NOT a Good Sign:nono: ....

Viv's had Problems w/CONSISTENCY,but U CAN'T Sleep on the Cat...EVER...He's Got Enough Ability to Beat ANYBODY on a Given Night,Especially Junior Witter's Ass...Viv's the Classic Case who Does a Little Bit of EVERYTHING Pretty Well, but he's Not EXCEPTIONAL in Any Regard,Either...

Whereas, Witter CHOKED In the 1 Fight of his that REED Gave a Fuck about & he's Been CAREFULLY Selecting the "Names" he's Fought Since then...

REED Thinks Vivian Harris is a BETTER Fighter,Period...More BATTLE-TESTED w/Out Question...Witter's Gonna have to DIG a Little to Win this 1...& Quite Frankly,REED Doesn't think he has IT in him to Do that...Wouldn't Surprise REED if Witter Got HURT & Ran the Rest of the Night, just to Avoid Getting KO'ed...

This is Witter's "Prove it to Me NOW" Moment,N REED's Opinion...SHIT or Get OFF the Fucking Toilet (& STOP Bombarding Fightbeat w/Junior Witter SCHTICK if he LOSES,Attraction:lol: )...

REED's Rolling w/TWIN on this 1...Harris by LATE TKO...Not Trying to Play BOTH Sides of the Coin, but REED can ALSO Fathom Witter Getting Hurt BADLY & Fighting to Survive,En Route to Another DULL yet Decisive Decision LOSS...

    Regardless,he WON'T Win Friday...

say what you'll say about witter, but it's foolish to refer back to the judah fight especially when he had less than 20 pro fights and he took the fight on short notice.

as much i dislike watching this guy fight, he's now much more experienced and is a world class fighter.

if he wins in a non-controversial fashion, he's earned his shot to face hatton despite of the outcome in december.

So we should INSTEAD Focus MORE on the Corley & N'Dou Wins???...

Zab was YOUNGER & CLOSER to his Prime than Corley & N'Dou,when they All Faced Witter...That Lost to Zab has Become Similar to Bernard's vs Roy Jones...Peeps Act like it DOESN'T Count, like it's TOTALLY Irrelevant...

w/Out Growing a 3rd Arm,how Could Witter B THAT Much Better,Since LOSING to a Guy as INCONSISTENT as Zab Judah:dunno: ???...Zab has Lost just about ALL of his "Big" Fights, yet he BEAT Junior Witter EASILY...Even Micky Ward Gave Zab a BETTER Fight:lol: ...

Like REED Said,THIS is Witter's "Litmus Test"...agREED on your Last Sentence...If Witter BEATS Harris Convincingly,U Gotta Give him SOME Credit & He will have EARNED a Euro Showdown w/Hatton,Early '08...

REED, you haven't seen the best of Junior at all.

I am going to predict, that YOU will be ON the Junior Witter bandwagon after this fight.

You are right about Harris' ability though. I think we can all agree that something was wrong with him that Maussa night. If Witter beats him, he has to be given credit IMO.

Seems like most people think Harris is gonna take Witter.

have you seen witter fight since the judah fight?

and i'm also not with you when discussing jones and hopkins.

over the course of years, hopkins has proven to be the greater fighter imo.

Witter learned a lot of things from the Zab fight that changed him as a fighter and I know this because he told me himself.

He said that Zab was trying to KO him with every shot he threw. Witter was always nicknamed "The Hitter" but he was never known as a puncher. I remember watching one of his early fights and the commentator (Ian darke - best commentator in boxing), was almost make a joke out of his power.

Well what happened after the Zab loss?

15 straight KO'd by Junior. And these were people he would probably have coasted along and won on points against as he had done before.

He kd Noud several times and hurt Corley bad. His power has increased hugely.

He also learned to train harder and be smarter and better prepared for fights.

He is actually a completely different fighter and I admire that. I enjoy watching him fight and I symphathise with his wanting to fight Hatton for the past 7 years and continually being ducked.

So what was his point? That he learned how effective it can be to have power and throw hard shots?

I think Attraction has shown some balls. basically nobody had any particular interest in this fight and through sheer force of will, through posts, a sig bet and through a pretty steep amount of cabbage (200 Pounds) suddenly this thread is 3 pages long.

I admire when somoene is willing to back their man and has a reason that may be contrary but basically makes some sense. AS I read the analysis so far Attraction thinks that Junior was... well a bit junior when he fought Judah. I can see that. Junior is obviously tough and determined. He may be solid second teire guy, or maybe he needs another chance at first teire. He obviously has Hatton thinking twice as well and while I agree with REED that Hatton has no reason to fight junior, it doesn't necessarily mean he isn't ducking a tough fight.

Here is what I do know. Vivian is a mess. He reminds me of Judah in some ways. I believe that if somoene really has their shit together they can break Harris down psychologically like Maussa did (another solid second teire guy). I never saw Junior fight but knowing what I do about Harris I am going with Junior.

Junior in a tough split decision.

It is also nice to see guys like Kauli and Attraction showing support for guys who are not superstars. I emphasize as I happen to be fond of Maussa! I also like junior Chavez which I know is an invitation to death by Hanzy and quite a few others on the boards.

    Based ON???:dunno: ...

Roy Jones BEAT Bernard Hopkins @ THE ONE Weight where Bernard Proved HIS Greatness...Roy Jones BEAT Bernard @ Middleweight,No Matter WHAT Kind of Pro-Hopkins SPIN U Wanna Place on it...

AND, Roy was DOMINANT @ Other Weights as Well...

If U Wanna Throw N Bernard's Lightheavy Laurels, REED Can Reference Roy's HEAVY Laurels...

No Way is Bernard Hopkins a "Greater" Fighter than Roy Jones:nono: ...Not Head-to-Head,NOR in Terms of Accomplishments...

I think it´s the fact that fuck all has been happening in boxing for a period of six weeks besides Abraham/Gevor and Torres/Holt.

roy never fought hopkins when he was on top of his game. you're in denial if you think that first fight really mattered.

was hopkins even a known contender back then?

hopkins also beat tarver EASILY while roy BARELY managed to beat him the first time then got humiliated in the next two.

who's to say that roy would've beaten hopkins had they fought in early 2000?

but then again, you're one of the biggest roy nutuggers so i'm not gonna turn this thread into another jones-hopkins argument.

i actually dont have a problem w/ those who say jones is greater, but i just happen to think the opposite.

as for witter-harris, like you and many others i'm really indifferent as to who's going to win so i guess i'm done arguing.

As a show of support for my boy Jake, I'm picking Harris to beat Junior Witter.

The stench of the Judah fight still emotes from Witter. While Witter's fighting at home, harris has equal comfort fighting in a hostile environment.

I like Harris in this one.

Harris outwits Witter then knocks him out late...Harris TKO 11

jake and i were both in AC when Maussa knocked harris the fuck out.

gatti is also one of his favorites if i remember correctly and it also took us hours to get our credentials that night.

definitely not the most memorable night for jake.
