Nothing beats 1975 'Tidal Wave' starring Lorne Green and a long cast of unemployed has-beens. The special effects were the worst ever put on film by a Hollywood team. Do not confuse this one with the 2009 Asian version which was actually entertaining.

Geostorm sucks because nothing actually happens for most of the movie
    it's super boring

2012 is stupid but at least it gets right down to it

You’re right Daylight is good. That and The Core are 2 really rewatchable ones I’ve sat through several times. I don’t get how you think 2012 is fun but think San Andreas is shit. I thought SA was fun.
Apparently those shark movies are making good money. They made like 4 or 5 Sharknado sequels and here in Japan they’ve been showing a lot of the other B level shark films that have been made recently. They have one with a 3 headed shark, a shark that is radioactive and on fire and giant shark vs giant octopus. I haven’t watched a single one and I even think The Meg got made because of all these dumb shark movies. Early reviews of it aren’t good either.

I’ve never watched any sharknado films and wouldn’t have included them in this category because I assumed they were satire. I mean sharks in tornadoes can’t be an attempt at a serious film surely ?

2012 is Citizen Kane compared to San Andreas.

I suppose the top 5 worse that I've seen are:

    Armageddon
    San Andreas
    Day After Tomorrow
    Dante's Peak
    Geostorm

Bad, but not as bad as the top 5:

    Volcano
    2012

    "Bad", but very fun:

    The Core

"Pretty good", but far from great:

    Daylight
    Deep Impact

    The best:

    The Poseidon Adventure

The China Syndrome: Dunno if this counts as a disaster flick, it might be borderline. But if it counts its definitely one of the best.

    The Towering Inferno

    The Impossible

Butler seemed to be taking himself seriously in Geostorm.

The Rock took himself very seriously in San Andreas.

At least in 2012, John Cusack knew he was in a stupid ass disaster flick, and was just having fun.

Yeah, Sharkanado shouldn't be considered a disaster flick.

Where you rank 'Earthquake' with Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, Richard Roundtree among other stars? The film was a blockbuster hit, praised by critics and gave the world the 'SENSURROUND' gimmick?
