DiCaprio in Blood Diamond was pretty bad.

I was surprised how bad Kevin Spacey's Irish accent was in Ordinary Decent Criminal. If there was an American actor who could pull it off I would have had Spacey as a contender, but it was really bad.

Yeah DiCaprio in Blood Diamond wasn't good. And I like Leo.

Pitt in Snatch wasn't convincing for me as well, even though I did enjoy his character.

I thought Pitt did a decent job of the tinker accent actually.

nah, hated that era of action movies. back then Hollywood assumed that only retarded people would ever watch an action movie, so they made the script and characters as vacuous and/or clichéd as possible. prefer the new type of action movies - Bourne, the Daniel Craig Bonds, the last few Mission Impossibles, and all the Marvel movies.

Yup, I tend to agree with this.

    The Rock was entertaining though.

Nicholas Cage didn't have an accent in The Rock. He spoke in his normal voice.

The movie you're thinking about is Con Air, where he spoke in a horrific Southern accent.

Idris Elba in Prometheus. Sounded terribly forced. And Idris is my boy......

Raising Arizona is one of my favorite movies because of Cage, Goodman and that pig faced guys accents.

You have to listen closely to catch it but Jeff Bridges tries to use an Irish accent for a few seconds in Blown Away. It's funny because it's the scene where he's confessing he's actually from Ireland and has been faking being American.

Kevin Costner's Russian in No Way Out

Jan Claude Van Damme 'American' accent in most of his films.

Just absolutely dreadful and painful to listen to.

John Malkovic (sp) in Rounders. Hilariously bad Russian KGB accent.
Agreed with Cage in Con Air. 'Put de bunny back in de box'...
Dick Van Dyke's Cockernee accent in Mary Poppins is the stuff of legend.
Almost every film which has someone American do a 'British accent'. Probably the worst is that mush in Green Street - can't even remember the useless cunt's name but my God it's dreadful.
