I don't think heavyweights should be on P4P lists

I think he was around the time he beat Holyfield in their first fight.

A decent case can be made for either one of them to be p4p #1 at certain points of their respective careers. Certainly Wlad looks as difficult to beat as any fighter in boxing right now. I realize this comment may backfire since Povetkin is an excellent fighter, but I don't think he's good enough to prove me wrong.

Vitali had a stretch probably surrounding his layoff where he was superb. Not anymore.

Right now, I do believe Wlad is a top 10 p4p guy. After you get past Ward, Rigondeaux, and Floyd, the next level has a lot of possibilities and it's as easy to make a case for Wlad being #4 as anyone else.

Nobody in the last 20 years seems like a terrible choice. Part of this is the nature of a year end poll since, unlike the single good win guys that have been mentioned, when you get a year end poll you are probably talking about fighters with more than just one good win.

Bute is certainly one of the weakest picks.

I really hated Ricky Hatton but he was better than Dawson.

What's the highest the Ging was rated on the list?

But anyway, if Khan ever made the list, then he's the answer.

9th, one place ahead of Rigondeaux.

Makes perfect sense, all those big wins.

LOL. Then Canela may be the right answer.

Riggo has more talent in a dump he takes than Canelo has in his whole body.

Jury's still out on Broner. Many are being too harsh on him, due to the Paulie fight and the Floyd comparisons. No, he's not a FRACTION as good as Floyd, and he never will be. And no, he didn't blow out Paulie. He won the fight clearly however, and I suspect that once he beats the shit outta Maidana, that people will be back on his nuts.

Hopefully we see Broner-Garcia soon. All questions will be answered in that fight.

It only took 4 pages of introspection from the forum to realize that the answer was staring them in the face.

Bute has done far more than Canela.

Yet there it is, writ in black and white. Canelo, fresh with his recent loss, sits in at #9 on the list, one place ahead of Donaire-defeater, Rigondeaux.

Bute Canelo is tricky. Bute has a higher skill level than Canelo, and is a bigger puncher, but is less durable.

Is he less durable? Based on what? Being stopped by Froch?? Its not like Floyd is as big as Canelo, after all, thats why Canelo was forced to sweat down, to even things up a bit and dissipate some of that ridiculous size advantage
