Julio Diaz okay Julio fucking Diaz enough said Khan is fucking awful... Mayweather will pick him apart easily and knock him out... he hasn't earned the match, fuck him
If Khan and Maidana rematched at this point, the SMART money would be on Maidana to fuck him up. Khan has declined from the fighter he was in 2011, and Maidana has improved.
Posters Keep SAYING that, Attributing PacquiaoESQUE Transformative Abilities to Maidana, but REED Ain't Buying... He's the Same SLOW, PLODDING, WINGING, Poor Balance Having, Face 1st Brawler he's Always Been...Adrien Broner's "Plan" was to Stand FLAT FOOTED in Front of Maidana, Throw a PALTRY Sum of Punches per Round & HURT Maidana w/the Few Shots he Did Throw... When that "Plan" Failed, Broner had NATHAN Else...Looking Good Against a DUMBASS Fighter like Broner, in his 2nd Fight Since Jumping Up from 135 DOESN'T Mean Maidana's "Improved"...Neither Does Beating WHOsesito? Lopez... REED:hammert:
several YEARS ago... First off, I had the Maidana/Khan fight a draw... Secondly, Maidana has deifnitely improved since then and has racked up his best wins... Khan, since then, has lost twice (including being KHTFO of him habba han haa hah habba) and barely scraped by a guy who was a fringe contender at lightweight more than a decade ago... His other win was a tepid decision over a scrub A lot has changed since they fought, they have gone in totally different directions, making the original bout essentially irrelevant in relation to this matchup
I don't remember Floyd as 'toying' with Chavez. The judges all gave him rounds, too, so they saw it the way i remember it.
Khan lost to the guy who is now the number one at 140. Maidana beat a guy who was never all that to begin with.
If Floyd does ever decide to fight Khan, you'll see I'm right. Speed schmeed, you need a bit of craftiness and unpredictability to compete with Floyd. Or a lot of aggression and strength. Khan will get clowed.
I think Floyd would deliberately start slow & Khan might win the first round but it'd be an illusion - Floyd would just be measuring, scoping out his button mash patterns. I don't think it'd go 6 rounds, Floyd would counter the bejesus out of him with short hooks. Target practice.
REWATCH the Fight, Bro... Floyd DELIBERATELY Hung Around in the Pocket, KNOWING Chavez COULDN'T Hurt Him...He Had ZERO Respect for Chavez That Night...Just Because Judges Gave Chavez Some Rounds DOESN'T Mean Floyd Didn't TOY w/Him...He Did...There was NEVER Even the Slightest Moment of Distress or Doubt for Floyd, that Night... REED:hammert:
Either Way, Khan BEAT Him According to the Judges, Since Brother Hut FANCIES them All of a Sudden:nana:...DROPPED him & was Whipping Maidana's Ass for a LARGE Portion of the Fight... Maidana FINISHED Stronger but the FACT is, for All this Talk of his "Power", he COULDN'T Even Stop a Certified CHINNY Guy like Khan...So If You Want to Hoist Up Julio Diaz to Make Khan Look Bad, REED Can RIGHTFULLY Hoist Up Khan's WIN Over Maidana...Can't Have it Both Ways, Bro... We'll See How "Improved" Maidana Looks when Floyd WHITEWASHES his Ass 12-0... REED:hammert:
Pretty much how I see it. Most 1st rounds with Floyd are him sizing up his opponent. I could see Khan winning round 1 on workrate alone as he flurries his way to bolivian. But come round 2 he starts to get clowned, no doubt in my mind, Khan wins no more than the first round.
Different order of talent...totally...Madianna has no real footwork, he is tough and likable and can hit hard but is easily avoided...Brnner is such an idiot that he literally travelled a straight line back and was still going back to avoid the first punch as he got hit
ABsolutely. I mean there is playing it safe and then there is ridiculous. And Floyd does not give two shits about Bronner, he just saw that easy money and acted like he was considering the other fight....Let me tell you something: The minute Madianna became available floyd was going for that fight...he just had to make it seem like he was conflicted.
How about this? Bronner got the nod when he lost 3 times...he was an unproven fighter who talked a good game and a solid B level guy kicked his ass. Nothing else imo needs to be said about Bronner. he lost to Ponce, he arguably lost to at least one more guy and being that Malignaggi was the champ he should not have gotten the nod in that fight necessarily, though it could have gone either way. Bronner was unproven
Yup. Chavez was getting badly lit up by the end of that fight. I didn't think it was competitive at all.
Agreed but mayweather jr may take a few rounds to figure out this other guy prior to eventually putting him through the fire and turning amir chaka khan into a burn victim. It's amusing how folks wanna detract from the guy based on this pettiness
most likely although the material girl might get leveled and make a sex book with broner's boner in his butt
