Haye would have trouble with today's version of Holyfield.

No he wouldn't. He'd stop him in 2 or 3 rounds. He'd walk right through him.

Like who? Bowe and Moorer both beat Haye. Haye, as evidenced by his actual fights at the weight, is shit at heavy.

Solis was knocked cold by a grazing shot to the temple, was fat...and shit.

Holyfield wouldn't be able to handle the speed, but there's little doubt he'd go the distance.

It's funny, but I actually thought Evander looked better against Valuev than Haye did.

Haye would be little more than a speed bump on Evander's pre Ruiz resume. Not even close.

Here is the thing- Holyfields PRE-RUIZ Resume was known as LENNOX LEWIS.

So yeah, I can see "PRE-RUIZ" Holy handling Haye just fine.

Because thats the same guy who did OK in two fights with Lewis.

Basically that just confirms that Valuev is a sort of Standard or Hall-Mark for averageness.

Holy was shot, but had a head full of experience, by contrast it was Haye's first title fight at 200+ and he relied on youth and speed.

agREED. It was an awful fight, and no amount of post fight damage control attempts by Haye apologists will change that. Lowering standards doesn't make fights better.

Yes. Hut spent an inordinate amount of time defending Solis (including the now legendary Solis looking like shit on purpose to land a title fight theory) and I see the beginnings of the same for Haye. Hut is usually a good poster, but this being an apologist for what passes for heavyweight contenders these days is a head-scratcher.
