Heavyweight division is interesting now. Full of undefeated young guns. Fury can't fight, but he's an interesting character and he's big and unbeaten. Then you have Wilder and Joshua. Then you have that undefeated KIWI. Then there's Haye coming back. Quite a few big fights to be made.
Kovalev-Ward is the most evenly matched big fight to be made and the one with the highest aggregation of talent (honorable mention to Rigo-Loma). However it is the one which interests me the least for some reason. On paper it's a great great matchup, but I'm not hyped about it.
I'm more hyped about Kovalev-Ward than Lomachenko-Rigondeaux. Probably because Rigo is just a boring jab and grabber type of fighter. He doesn't even have a good chin. He's been dropped and hurt numerous times. But nobody has been able to finish him off. I think either Frampton or Quigg would have a really good chance at beating him, especially now.
Same. While the spoilers might win both of them I think Kov-Ward will be a better fight regardless of the outcome.
