Trinidad vs Cuevas would be intriguing because both have KO a power. But I think Carlos Palomino gives Tito a tougher fight.
Cuevas ain't Campas. He's an EXTREMELY dangerous opponent for Tito. Pipino Cuevas is criminally underrated on this forum. Tito would likely knock him out circa 7-9, but Cuevas is live.
I dont think his style mesh well with tito. Hes live against dlh and very live (maybe favorite) against quartey, but the wide swinging style should play in titos hands
Yes, but Trimidad do well to not get knocked down in the first place. Cuevas was a ruthless finisher, and he was a helluva lot faster than someone like Campas. Trinidad would be my pick though.
No, that's going way too far. Tyson lost to Danny Williams just one fight later. AJ's a helluva lot better than Danny Williams. AJ stops the Ettiene version of Tyson. For sure. Everything Tyson had left in the tank was gone after 2000.

Yeah, AJ's not that bad. Any semi-decent heavyweight would beat the post-Lewis Tyson. The 2000 Tyson is different because Mike was still coming in at 220, and still retained a decent amount of hand and foot speed. He had this three fight renaissance (Francis, Savarese, Golota) where he looked very sharp and explosive. At that point, I think he would've stopped Joshua. But after the Golota fight, Mike got fat and inactive.
Same. Gomez would fuck up Morales. He would fuck up Rigo too. The Cuban is too mentally weak for Gomez. Gomez would break him down to the body, and Rigo would quit on his stool before the inevitable conclusion. I think Pac and Fenech are the two most dangerous opponents for Gomez at 122.
Yeah, that'd be a good fight. One you know is going the distance, but it'd be fought at a high skill level.
Yeah Tyson was only dangerous early, but not massively so at that point and it's not like it was any secret what he would try. Basically anybody competent enough to get past the first few rounds was going to beat him. He was like a high mile muscle car with a coffee cup full of gas in the tank.
