how does donaire become everyone's favorite all of a sudden? based off a single win?

 

The way he approached the fight and the way he won made me a fan... That and the fact that I don't know a lot of fighters in these divisions.

 

you should watch sakata vs. vasquez II and naito vs. pongslek III. them jap flyweights fought their asses off.

pongslek and vasquez are better than darchinless.

 

I like Donaire (though didn't list him as my favorite) just b/c he's with Cameron Dunkin, as I'm naturally biased toward his fighters :: ... but that said, I've been a fan of his since he was on ESPN2 a couple of years ago. He fought some can, but you saw the talent right then and there. Plus he beat up Joe Rein's boy last year on ShoBox, which I thought was hella impressive, as Harturanyan was/is decent in his own right.

Cruiserweight- Adamek (only one fight, but I liked what I saw)

Light-Heavy - Chad Dawson (much improved after getting with Birmingham and Mayweather)

SuperMiddle - Mikkel Kessler

Middleweight - Kelly Pavlik (I think he takes down Taylor then moves up)

Junior Middle - N/A but Forrest looked good against Baldomir

Welterweight - Shane Mosley (of course) and Miguel Cotto

Junior Welterweight - Ricky Hatton (but I like the Peterson kid)

Lightweight - Juan Diaz - by default, but you have to like the effort the kid puts forth. (I like the Peterson kid too)

Super Featherweight - Manny Pacquiao (took me a long time to appreciate the guy, but after his destruction of Morales last year, he won me over)

Featherweight and below...don't care.
