If Erik Morales comes back no matter how washed up he is he jumps back to #1 and everyone moves down a slot.

I've always liked Pavlik and am still a fan. My own bias toward other fighters keeps him barely out of my top five, but I'd still root for him in any middleweight fight - save for Wink, in which case I wouldn't root either way other than for a good fight.

My Top 5 in no particular order:

Joan Guzman (I'm probably the last fan left)
    Chad Dawson
    Jeff Lacy
Argenis Mendez (though he's making it damn frustrating lately)
    IsRafael MarVazquez

If Tito's still considered "current" then he's obviously at the top of the list, replacing Geni

    Seriously?

    Roy Jones (nostalgia vote)
    Chad Dawson
    Cristian Mijares
    Shane Mosley
Rocky Juarez (yes, I've been a frustrated fan for quite some time)

If Morales comes back, he tops my list, viva Tijuana Warrior.

    Otherwise

    1 - Pacman
    2 - Calzaghe
    3 - Mosley
    4 - Vazquez
    5 - Pavlik

And amazingly, Marquez Major has made an entrance on my runner's up favourite list. He's a great fighter, and he's become far more entertaining recently. AND he fucking KO'd casamayor, something I've been waiting to happen for years.

damn, you've known me for how long, and you're shocked that I'm a Lacy fan?

I too am a long, suffering Juarez fan.

I've become a Mijares fan in a big way, but would have to consider it appreciation more so than fandom. Ditto for Pacquiao and JM Marquez. I love watching all three fight, but don't really root for (or against) any of them.

Marquez has always been an exciting fighter

Youd have to be blind not to know it... if somehow you watched his fight against Gainer where he chased him down the ring and forced him to quit.. if you thought it was evidence he is not exciting then you just don't understand how boxing works

Holy shit, I'm being told by D MAN that I don't understand how boxing works. Could that be the biggest insult of them all?

So he chased Gainer, and that makes him exciting?

No, Marquez was never particularly exciting until recently. Even when he dished out some impressive beatings like making Peden puke blood, he was not as watchable as he is now.

Corrales effectively taking Gainer out with a 6 inch left hook, that's exciting.

If Marquez was as exciting as you say, he would have been in the same realm of popularity as Morales and Barrera. He wasn't.
