    That's the plan, bro.

Henry is no slick boxer, he is going to have to turn this into a street fight to win.

Yep, that combined with a 14 month layoff certainly isn't going to do Henry any favours.

I don't know though, I quite like Henry, he is tough and gutsy. He's a decent fighter too, and Erdei is 36, and IMO nothing special at world level.

Fuck it, I'm picking Henry by stoppage.

I like him as well. Certainly not a boring fighter.

Erdei isn't anything special, true, but the Fragemoni win really changed the way I looked at his career. Most of his LHW run was uninspiring and against shit competition, but he really showed that he can fight when he stepped up in weight and class (even if Fragemoni is "only" a good not great CW himself).

Chris was training in Dallas with Curtis Cokes for awhile, but they had a falling out, Andrew.

REED can perhaps give some detail and elaborate more about that situation as I don't what transpired between Chris, Curtis, and Al.

You just said he bulked up with weights to play a heavyweight for a movie role (shades of Tony Tarver before Hopkins). Why are you now talking to me like an idiot?

    Explanation

I meant a HEAVY in movie terms: aka "THE BAD GUY"

    I never said heavyweight.

He was cast as one of the heavies in an A-Team knock off type of movie over there.

He was THE BAD GUYnot the good guy!

The A-TEAM were the good guys!

The movie WAS NOT NAMED THE A-TEAM!

The A-TEAM was a knock off of The Dirty Dozen!

It was a movie made in Italy known as a spaghetti action film!

So Chris Henry gained a lot of weight to play a bad guy called "The Heavy" in an Italian B-Movie called The Dirty A-Team and Zsolt Erdei eats spaghetti.

    Got it.

Chris is my good friend; but Nathan Cleverly beats both of them right now.

So you wish to change the accepted meaning of undisputed champ because you dislike Roy Jones.

    Sure :wack:

I'm pretty sure El think DM would have won a potential Jones fight in the 90s.

He's entitled to his opinion but not to change definitions to suit himself. Roy was an undisputed champ. This is a fact.

Maybe on HBO and in the mind of the easy to influence American boxing fans.

In June of 1996 Dariusz unified the WBA/IBF/WBO belts by beating Virgil Hill, who had just beaten the other CHAMPION Henry Maske. Dariusz is then stripped of the WBA belt, because they don´t allow him to have both the WBA and WBO belt at the same time. The IBF strips him, because he doesn´t want to make a mandatory defense against Guthrie within 30 days of the Hill fight.

Meanwhile Roy Jones wins the vacant WBC light-heavyweight title against an ancient Mike McCallum in November of 1996, because Fabrice Tiozzo vacated the belt. He then lost it to Montell Griffin, before winning it back, before immediately being stripped of the belt, because he refused to fight Rocky.

Yes I don´t see how there can be any argument that Roy was not the undisputed champion. He held a WBC belt he had no legal claim to. He held a WBA/IBF belt that were stripped of the real champion. It´s like saying sorry Sergio Martinez you are not the real champ anymore. Pirog and Zbik are. :crying::crying:

Yep. To call Roy the undisputed LH champ is to not know what 'undisputed' means.
